How do you sell a restaurant without telling the staff?

I want to list my restaurant for sale in Portland and keep it confidential. Offers need real numbers, but I do not want servers hearing it from a tour. How are people handling showings?

Use a confidential listing: public page stays light, full address and photos after an NDA. Schedule tours before open or on the dark day. Buyers who will not sign an NDA are not ready anyway.

That is the plan. We will keep the public listing at city and concept level until a buyer signs an NDA.

Give the broker a one pager they can share after NDA: rent, remaining term, last 12 months of sales, and whether the license transfers. That cuts back and forth without posting the name on the internet.
